Jo Levien is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in work with older adults. Jo brings a compassionate, affirming and strengths-based perspective, striving to center clients inherent self-determination in moments where choice may feel limited. Their expertise includes depression, anxiety, disability and chronic illness, LGBTQ+ issues, role identity, living environment transitions and working with patient-caregiver dyads.
Jo received their BA in Sociology and Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington. They are a Carol LaMare Scholar of Palliative and Oncology Social Work alum. Over the past years Jo has worked in hospice and community mental health settings.
