Dr. Galina Tobin is the Managing Director of Clinical Services at Jewish Family and Career Services. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and Registered Play Therapist.

Bio
Dr. Galina Tobin is the Managing Director of Clinical Services at Jewish Family and Career Services. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and Registered Play Therapist. Galina earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Georgia State University and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University.
With more than a decade of clinical experience, Galina specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families through trauma-informed and play-based approaches. She has advanced training in trauma and play therapy and has developed and delivered numerous professional trainings and presentations for clinicians, families, and community organizations.
Galina is passionate about building caring, trusting relationships through a client-centered, strengths-based approach grounded in neurobiological, attachment, and Adlerian theories. She engages clients through playfulness, creativity, and unconditional positive regard to strengthen parent-child relationships and promote healing and growth.
